EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
The professional figure, as a holder of this degree, will be an expert who is able to work in the world of Visual Arts as an artist on the one hand, and on the other hand able to manage him/herself as a highly qualified professional.
He/she will be able to enter the world of various professions: that of “Made In Italy”, as an artistic craftsman, a decorator, an art director, a creator in the field of gift goods, a mosaicist and maker of stained-glass windows, an organizer of exhibition spaces with knowledge of computer-based architectonic drawing, or as a collaborator in architecture firms. He/she will be in possession of the necessary critical and methodological skills in forms of expression in the Applied Arts.
The purpose of the three-year course of study in Decoration is to direct the student towards knowledge of the meaning of architecture.
Through practice and theory, the student will be provided with the necessary elements to acquire the skills of understanding, critical reading, drawing and representation, the geometry of shape (Gestaltung), constructive technique, typology and composition. This will allow the student to acquire general culture and to learn the basics in order to execute a thought-out approach to project planning.
Students are asked to actively participate.
